Miroslav Miša Savić (1954) is a Serbian composer, performance artist, producer, sound designer and a music pedagogue.

Biography

Savić studied composition in the class of Professor Vasilije Mokranjac at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade. He was taught conducting by Borislav Pašća at Belgrade Opera. Savić attended composition course at the Electronic studio of Radio Belgrade. He was a member of the "Ensemble for the Different New Music" and the avant-garde composer groups, such as "New Generation", "Opus 4" and "Yummbel". He participated actively in the European Minimal Music Project. Savić is a member of the "Serbian Association of Composers and Fine Artists".

Since 2009 Miroslav Miša Savić has worked as a professor of Computer Music at New Art Academy in Belgrade and from 2003 he has taught Music Production at the Secondary Music School “Kosta Manojlović“. Since 1975 he has also been active as a music programme director of the Students' Cultural Centre.
