Eckard Rödger worked for the radio in Leipzig following his training as a sound engineer. He then worked as sound engineer for the theatre at the Palast der Republik 1 (TiP) in Berlin, where he developed and oversaw concert series of electroacoustic music and was responsible for the production of numerous electroacoustic works. After the fall of the Berlin wall, he received a tenured professorship in sound technology at the Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy College for music and theatre in Leipzig. Rödger worked with renowned musicians from both serious and pop music.&lt;br /&gt;
