Jiří Kabeš, alias Kába (* 26 March 1946 in Křemín, [[Category:Czechoslovakia|Czechoslovakia]]) is a [[:Category: Czech Republic|Czech]] rock singer, violist, violinist, guitarist and songwriter. He became a member of [[The Plastic People of the Universe]][1] in 1970, in which he mainly plays the viola and violin, but also occasionally sings and plays the theremin. In the early seventies he played with rock'n'roll group The Old Teenagers.[2] Since 1997 he is also member of The Velvet Underground Revival Band[2]in which plays the guitar. He was also a member of [[Milan Hlavsa]]'s band called [[Půlnoc]] and [[Echt!]].[2]
