New page

Pola Mazur is a Polish/American actress, singer, comedian and producer. Her musical career started in Poland where she was known as the singer in the punk bands Atak and later"White Volcanoes. This led to an appearance in the TV documentary "Punk in Poland," which followed the punk movement in 1980's communist Poland, which since became a cult favorite in that country. Pola studied acting in Amsterdam, and continued at the American Conservatory in San Francisco. During her stay in Bay Area she appeared in many theater productions and a few of independent films. One of them "Some Prefer Cake," screened in the 1998' Outfest Film Festival in Los Angeles. She later began performing comedy in night clubs and eventually created the Pilot webseries with her husband and partner Tom Needell.
