Jiří Kabeš, alias Kába (* 26 March 1946 in Křemín, [[Category:Czechoslovakia|Czechoslovakia]]) is a [[:Category: Czech Republic|Czech]] rock singer, violist, violinist, guitarist and songwriter. He became a member of [[The Plastic People of the Universe]]<sup>[1]</sup> in 1970, in which he mainly plays the viola and violin, but also occasionally sings and plays the theremin. In the early seventies he played with rock'n'roll group The Old Teenagers.<sup>[2]</sup> Since 1997 he is also member of The Velvet Underground Revival Band<sup>[2]</sup>in which plays the guitar. He was also a member of [[Milan Hlavsa]]'s band called [[Půlnoc]] and [[Echt!]].<sup>[2]</sup>

Jiří Kabeš, alias Kába (* 26 March 1946 in Křemín, Czechoslovakia) is a Czech rock singer, violist, violinist, guitarist and songwriter. He became a member of The Plastic People of the Universe[1] in 1970, in which he mainly plays the viola and violin, but also occasionally sings and plays the theremin. In the early seventies he played with rock'n'roll group The Old Teenagers.[2] Since 1997 he is also member of The Velvet Underground Revival Band[2]in which plays the guitar. He was also a member of Milan Hlavsa's band called Půlnoc and Echt!.[2]
