Berlinski zid ("Berlin Wall" in English) is a Slovenian punk band active between 1978 and 1980 in Ljubljana. Its lineup consisted of singer Brane Bitenc (later a part of Otroci socializma), bassist Matjaž Osvald, guitarist Miha Štamcar, drummer Roman Dečman (later a part of Otroci socializma), vocalist and keyboardist Sašo Solarovič (later a part of Ghost Riders and Hic et nunc) and drummer Slavko Kamenič. Alenka Marsenič from Čao pičke also collaborated with the group.
Their songs "Možgani na asfaltu" ("Brains on the Asphalt") and "Po cestah mesta" ("On the Roads of the City") were included in the 1981 Novi Punk Val compilation. Another song, "Revolucija 2000" ("Revolution 2000") is considered one of the most famous in Slovenian punk. [1] The group disbanded in 1980, when some of its members were imprisoned.
