Nikolai Okunew (1987, Berlin) holds a master’s degree in history. He is an alumnus of the Humboldt-University in Berlin. His main interests are sociological theories and the history of the cultural history of Germany. In 2015 he was awarded by the German Society for Popular Music Studies e.V. for his studies on Heavy Metal in the GDR.
