Mess was an Estonian progressive Rock band active between 1974 and 1976.

Besides the typical rock instruments, Mess were also early users of synthesizers, particularly a primitive one oscillator synth built by Härmo Härm for Sven Grünberg, the lead composer for the band, and was instrumental in kindling his interest in the instrument and launching his later career.

The band's lineup consisted of Sven Grünberg (keyboards), Elmu Värk (guitar), Mati Timmermann (bass guitar), Andrus Vaht (percussion) and Ivar Sipra (percussion).
