She became assistant professor of Music and Ethnomusicology at the Pancho Vladigerov State Academy of Music in 1988, and associate professor in 2000. She currently heads this department at the academy. <br /> <br /> She was head of the Sofia Concert Directorate and the founder of the [[On the Experimental Studio For Contemporary Music|Experimental Studio for Contemporary Music]], one of the founders of the Society for New Music in Bulgaria, and a member of the ISCM.
