Igor Vidmar is a Slovenian and former Yugoslav journalist, music promoter and manager, music producer and political activist. He worked with many artists, most of them having a cult status in the underground music Scene of Slovenia and the former SFR Yugoslavia, such as the Yugoslav punk rock pioneers Pankrti and Paraf, the internationally acclaimed Laibach and many others. He also compiled the famous Yugoslav punk and post punk compilations "Novi Punk Val", "Lepo Je …" and "84", was active in the extremly important ŠKUC Art Gallery in Ljubljana and established as a concert organizer not only the important Novi Rock Festival but brought numerous eminent international acts to Slovenia and/or Yugoslavia.
