Iveria (Georgian: ივერია) was a Georgian music ensemble founded in 1968. It became popular throughout the Soviet Union during the 70s. Its art director was Alexander Basilaia. Iveria performed both Georgian folk and contemporary songs by Soviet and foreign composers. They released six vinyl albums on Melodiya, and wrote and performed in two musicals, Argo and Wedding of the Jays. In 1977, they won the first prize at the All-Union Soviet Song Contest.
