Agustín González Acilu (Alsasua, Navarra, February 18th 1929) is a Spanish composer and music teacher. 1

He began his music studies in Alsasua and continued them in Madrid, later expanding them in different European cities. He was a professor of harmony at the Superior Conservatory of Music in Madrid, and in 1971 he obtained the National Music Prize. He won this award again in 1998. [1]

In 2009 he also received the Prince of Viana Prize for Culture from the Prince of Asturias. [2][3]

He has written different concerts for piano and cello and quite a few pieces of chamber music.
